Playtech Releases Ice Hockey Slot

The Online Casino software developer Playtech announced that it was releasing an ice hockey themed slot game that for sure will be a big hit with sports fans across the globe.

The exciting new game adopts the thrills and adrenalin-pumping intensity that is generated by ice hockey. Playtech Ice Hockey is a 5 reel, 15 pay-line slot game and takes an innovative stance on the slot game. It will be available to play at all online casinos that utilise Playtech software.

In Playtech Ice Hockey, the player gets to choose two teams. The flags of the two teams the player chooses then appear on the relative symbols. The players on one team play from left to right and the players on the other team play right to left. Each team has three players. The game then pays money out when players of the same team appear across the pay-lines.

The wild Symbol is represented by a Goal icon. It substitutes for all winning symbols except for the scatter. The scatter symbol is represented by an Ice Hockey logo. The fixed jackpot has a potential value of 10,000 coins.

The Free Spins symbol is represented by the flags of the two teams. The player wins 12 free spins when the flag of the same team appears at the same time across reels 1 to 5. Free spins can not be re-activated during the free spins round.

The bonus symbol is represented by the Ice Hockey Puck icon. If this icon appears anywhere on reel 2 with a left team member to its left or anywhere on reel 4 with a right team member to its right then the Bonus Round is activated. In the Bonus Round, the puck will be passed between all the players of the same team that appear on the reels and the player will win three times the pay out depending on how many players the puck is passed to.
