Net Entertainment 2012 Statistics

The renowned online gambling technology developer Net Entertainment just released its H1 2012 statistics report that points our record breaking revenues during the first part of this year. The report also distinctly analyzed the second quarter of the year beginning with April 1st and ending with June 30th. During this period of time the Swedish company managed to increase its revenues with a huge 32% compared to the same period last year. The operating profit of the venture during the last three months was SEK 39.6 million. In contrast, the company’s revenues of the same period last year were only SEK 27.2 million. The total profits after tax amounted to SEK 36.7 million.

For the total six months period between January 2012 and June 2012 the company’s total revenue was SEK 259.5 million which constitutes a very large increase of 33% compared to the same period of 2011. Operating profits during the first half of 2012 amounted to SEK 79.7 which is also around 30% more than what has been cashed in during H1 2011. The profits after taxes amounted to an attractive sum of SEK 71.4 million.

The new report has also pointed out that Net Entertainment has awarded 10 new licenses to various online gambling operators. It’s expected that these new licenses will considerably increase the company’s revenues in the second half of 2012.

Net Entertainment explained that one of the main reasons for the impressive increase is the rapid growth of the company’s current licensees. Yet another reason is the company’s and its licensees’ huge success in the newly opened Italian online gambling market. The venture expects even more revenues from Italy due to the fact that the country and the AAMS will legalize online slot games beginning December 2012. Net Entertainment is prepared to supply its Italian licensees with new and top-quality slot games.

Company CEO Per Eriksson commented that in order to achieve these results the company had to be reorganized and several operational structures were changed. He explained the following: “The purpose of the changes was primarily to make the decision making process more effective through a flatter organizational hierarchy and meant that certain management positions were eliminated, such as the CTO.” Net Entertainment is a medium-sized Swedish online gambling technology provider. The company supplies a large number of online casinos with quality games and platforms. Its licensees are mostly operating in Scandinavian countries and emerging markets.
